I just noticed Aprilia is putting on a bunch of trackdays around the country. You get to ride their brand new 1100s on track with brand new gear and includes food and beverages.

Cost is $225 (unless you are at COTA) and you leave with a $250 gift certificate for Aprilia accessories and Apparel. Also it sounds like you get to track your own bike as well after the 2 20 minute Aprilia Sessions.

I have already signed up for the day at the Ridge in May.

Should be an awesome experience. Fair warning, riding an RSV4 on track will basically ruin your current perception of motorcycling. Going back to riding any other bike on the street or otherwise will leave you feeling all sad and mopey and empty inside . There’s no fix for it other than buying one of your own. Plan accordingly.

I’ll be racing my RSV4 the weekend that they’re closest to me though. Bummer .

I’m ac tually a little more concerned about riding the Tuono than the RSV4. I have no interest in riding rockets on the street anymore but the Tuono might be comfortable enough to tempt me.

I’m a little worried about it being so early in the season. Don’t really want a rainy track day on  a bike I’m not familiar with. But it sounds like an awesome deal!

I’m considering it, but probably need to borrow a truck from a friend. Something about riding up and back on the same vehicle one takes on track seems ill advised.

Pretty low chances of rain. Shelton in May has highs in the 60s and average precipitation of 2.62 inches all month.

ORP is like a big autocross run with lots of eleavation change. Ridge is definitely more sweeper-ey
